REPL Heat Shrinkable Medium Wall Tubes (RIMT) provide environmental protection to the cable cores of plastic and paper insulated cable terminations. As well as insulation over the connector area in cable joints (rated up to 1kV). The insulating tubes are made from thermally stabilized, cross linked, weather resistant polymeric material.
The tubes can also be supplied internally coated with hot melt adhesive (RIMTA).
